Vice President US Sales

Position Objective

To shape the growth of one of the most innovative technology companies in the Consumer Insights space, establishing and later leading the US account management team, capitalizing on an existing customer base of dozens of leading brands

Responsibilities

  • Establish, build and lead the US enterprise sales team to achieve revenue and company objectives
  • Accountable for total sales force operations
  • Responsible for strengthening and deepening US direct sales
  • Responsible for identifying new accounts and developing strong sales in North America
  • Hiring of team members
  • Provide Sales Dashboard with key metrics for management team

 

Characteristics of the Target Candidate

  • Demonstrated ability to scale enterprise sales organizations from initial $M to $xxM
  • Demonstrated ability to sell into brands using direct field sales at a $50K-$500K price range
  • Experience working in a small, ‘startup’ environment
  • Team player
  • Ability to hire, mentor and grow sales professionals
  • Creative and Innovative
  • Willing to travel
  • Experience selling technology solutions into brands and/or consumer insights – a plus

Education Requirements

  • MBA preferred, not required

Years of Experience 

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably to CMOs.
  • 2+ years of team leadership

Location 

  • Initial workplace will be your home office or a shared office space

Compensation  

  • Base salary $140,000
  • On Target Earning (OTE) potential $280,000 – $300,000 Stock options
